Dafne Keen Is Delighted That Fans Want To See Her in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ Addresses X-23 Cameo Rumors

Logans Dafne Keen Confuses Fans with Her Reaction to the Latest Deadpool Wolverine Trailer

One of the biggest selling points of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ seems to be the unprecedented amount of cameos and variants set to appear in the movie. So far, we have over 25 characters from former Fox’s ‘X-Men’ franchise and other properties either rumored to appear or confirmed to appear.

One of them is Dafne Keen’s Laura. Although the character was never explicitly confirmed to be in the movie, fans have assumed as much since Wolverine’s past, or at least the past of one of his variants seems to heavily nod toward the character.

But, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is not the only massive project that Keen is “set to return in” as the actress is currently doing promotion for her upcoming Star Wars show, ‘The Acolyte.’ Keen is set on playing Jedi Padawan Jecki Lon, but as those things often go, she was asked about her role in the upcoming MCU movie as well. Keen wasn’t bothered by it, in fact she seems to like the fact that her projects are “seeping” into each other, and she feels honored to be a part of such big fandoms. In her interview with ComicBook, Keen addressed that she gets asked about her rumored cameo quite often:

What goes through your head is, first of all, how cool that something is that big that it seeps and it bleeds into other projects. And how cool it is that I got to be a part of something that had such a huge legacy that almost ten years later, I’m still being asked about, and that just feels pretty huge.

Recently, Keen seemed to dispel rumors that she is appearing in the movie by saying that she is excited to watch the movie, seemingly implying that she is not in it.

I mean, I’m very excited to watch it. The trailer is incredible — we all agree that the trailer is incredible? I love Ryan Reynolds, I love Hugh Jackman, obviously, he is like my second father, like my fake dad. Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, it is insane, I am very excited to watch it.

Even if Dafne truly doesn’t show up in the movie, we can always count on a separate set of rumors that say that the X-23 variant will be included in the movie played by Natalia Tena.
