‘Dune’ Star Zendaya Slithers Into Action-Hero Mode for Her Snakeskin-Soaked ‘On’ Campaign
Few stars can turn a sportswear drop into a pop-culture event the way Zendaya can. Her partnership with the Swiss brand On has become one of the most closely watched collaborations in fashion, and every new Zendaya On campaign seems to arrive with a twist.
This one started building on September 30, when teasers and promo images landed ahead of the full reveal. In a behind-the-scenes preview, Zendaya chats with her longtime stylist Law Roach about the concept and floats one very specific addition to the shoot: a snake.
The payoff arrived on October 1. The 4-panel set shows her in a python-print long-sleeve top and matching trousers, posed against a vivid red backdrop and a grey textured wall. A real snake is draped over her shoulders in one frame, and mauve Mary Jane-style sneakers appear in another.

According to On’s announcement, the second co-created collection is presented through an action-movie-inspired campaign and short film from the Argentinian trio Pantera. The film draws on the visual language and physicality of classic action movies. It captures Zendaya moving through choreographed scenes, with stills released alongside it.
The film runs about 2 minutes and sees Zendaya fending off a large group of female adversaries. Roach pops up in a cameo to lend a hand. She is badly outnumbered, but like any good action hero, she comes out on top.
On your right, Zendaya! 🎬

Developed with Roach, the collection leans hard into a custom python print. Zendaya described it in a statement as working like a modern camo, a nod to the way the pattern runs through the line. FashionUnited reports that the range expands On’s lifestyle wardrobe with oversized crewnecks and sweatpants featuring ruching and bungee cord detailing.
The headline piece is the Cloudnova Moon, which reworks the silhouette into a Mary Jane-inspired sneaker. Zendaya paired it with a matching snakeskin set in the campaign. She also wore the same snakeskin anorak seen on Shelton at the 2026 US Open, and later swapped the live snake for a python-printed onesie.
On the retail side, the campaign launched on October 1, with the Cloudnova Moon Mary Jane and the latest apparel available on on.com and in On stores globally.
The snake-print season is the latest step in a collaboration that has steadily deepened. Zendaya signed as an On brand partner in June 2024 on a multiyear deal.
The first product she helped create was the Cloudzone Moon sneaker, co-designed with Roach and unveiled in On’s fall 2025 campaign. Then came the first co-created collection, which launched on April 16, 2026, alongside a short film from Spike Jonze. WWD describes it as a 7-piece women’s line.
The brand has also leaned into cinema before. The Hollywood Reporter noted that Zendaya starred in an earlier On campaign built as a trailer for a fictional film called ‘Zone Dreamers’. The action-movie concept this time fits neatly into that run of cinematic storytelling.
The snake itself may be a knowing wink. Zendaya has a long history with serpent imagery through her Bulgari ambassador role and its Serpenti campaigns. The campaign arrives while she is also fronting Prada Beauty and has ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ on her résumé.
