Marvel Studios still remains silent about the actors who will play Marvel’s first family in the upcoming reboot of the Fantastic Four, which will introduce Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and the Thing into the MCU. It’s been more than two years since the movie was announced, and the only thing that is officially known is that Matt Shakman will direct the movie, replacing Jon Watts, who was initially announced as the director.

Recent rumors suggested that Mila Kunis, who is primarily known for her comedic roles in That ’70s Show, Family Guy, Ted, and Bad Moms, is attached to star in MCU’s Fantastic Four reboot. Those rumors first surfaced when she was seen at lunch with the director Matt Shakman.

And while some rumors claim she’s one of the candidates to play Sue Storm, aka Invisible Woman, some even claim that she’s attached to play the Thing. In a recent interview on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Cordon, Kunis denied her involvement in the upcoming MCU movie, but she added that she knows the entire cast of the movie. You can see her response to the rumors in the video below.

The MCU fans expected that the cast would be revealed at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where the boss Kevin Feige presented a lot of new projects, including two upcoming Avengers movies. It was revealed that Fantastic Four will be the first movie of Phase 6, set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2025. But who will star in that movie? We still have no idea. Of course, there are some rumors about Adam Driver and Antonio Banderas joining the cast, but that’s still everything but official.

Fantastic Four, also known as Marvel’s first family, first appeared on the big screen in 2005. The original Fantastic Four movie had a pretty good cast, but it received mixed reviews, as well as its 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. In 2015, Fox made a reboot, which was ultimately panned and mocked by critics and audiences as one of the worst superhero movies ever made.

In 2019, Disney’s acquisition of Fox brought the rights to Fantastic Four back to Marvel Studios. The new reboot, set in the MCU this time, is now set to be directed by Matt Shakman, who directed all episodes of Marvel Studios’ WandaVision and also worked on other acclaimed shows, including Game of Thrones, The Boys, The Good Wife, and Succession.

MCU’s Fantastic Four is set to be released on February 14, 2025, as the first movie of the franchise’s Phase 6.
