Tangled (franchise)

Tangled is a Disney media franchise that began with the 2010 CGI-animated film directed by Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, which was loosely based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale “Rapunzel.” The franchise has expanded beyond the original movie to include a video game, short sequel, stage musical, television series, and a television film. Owned by The Walt Disney Company, Tangled remains one of Disney’s popular modern animated properties.
