A little over two weeks stand between us and the release of ‘The Marvels,’ the 33rd movie in the MCU and the final movie to be released in the franchise this year. ‘The Marvels’ was first planned to be a second Captain Marvel standalone movie until it became clear that the spotlight would be shared with Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan due to some weird power entanglement that could be seen at the end of ‘Miss Marvel’ Disney+ show.

Due to the strikes, the movie wasn’t as promoted, and the projected Box office numbers do not look so good for what stands to be the most expensive MCU movie in the Multiverse Saga. Still, the closer we come to the release date, the more leaks and rumors we can come across on various social media, perhaps in attempts to hype up the movie that, so far, hasn’t received so much hype.

According to a leaker on X Cryptic4KQual the movie has received some last-minute changes to its ending, and the changes are “very big.”

The post came as an answer to a different statement made by Daniel Richtman, an even more reputable leaker, in which he states that one big name from the franchise is returning.

Someone who was the perfect casting for a certain role and never got his chance to do justice with it cuz they wasted him on a shitty movie is coming back. That’s all I’m gonna say

Rumors about the last-minute ending change are further supported by Grace Randolph, who shared a cryptic tweet that a “last-minute” surprise was added to the movie.

Everything points to an important character being included in the post-credits scene of the movie. A lot of the fans concluded that Beast is about to make an appearance in the movie because he fits the criteria of being perfectly cast but wasted on a subpar movie.
