Livvy Dunne Channels ‘Baywatch’ Energy in Daring High-Cut Swimsuit Look That Stops the Scroll
Gymnast and social media personality Livvy Dunne is taking on a new role in the upcoming “Baywatch” reboot, and early set images are already drawing attention.
The LSU athlete was seen filming beach scenes while wearing a bright red swimsuit that instantly connects back to the iconic look from the original series.
Dunne was spotted on location sitting inside a red Los Angeles Lifeguard truck as cameras rolled for the production. The scene placed her right in the middle of a sunny beach setting, matching the familiar tone that made “Baywatch” a global hit in the first place.
Her outfit was a modern version of the classic lifeguard uniform. The swimsuit featured a high-cut design that highlighted her athletic build, along with a deep neckline that gave the look a dramatic edge while still keeping the recognizable red theme. The styling clearly aimed to balance nostalgia with a more updated visual direction for today’s audience.
She completed the look with simple accessories, including a sporty black digital watch on her wrist. Her hair was styled in loose, natural waves that moved with the ocean breeze, adding to the relaxed beach atmosphere of the shoot. The overall scene gave off a polished but energetic feel, fitting for a series built around lifeguards and coastal action.
The “Baywatch” reboot has been in development for several years. According to earlier production updates, FremantleMedia International first explored bringing the series back in 2023. By 2024, Fremantle and Fox Entertainment officially teamed up to move forward with the project, with Lara Olsen attached as writer and showrunner.
In 2025, Fox gave the reboot a full series order of 12 episodes, setting it up for the 2026–27 television season. The production also benefited from a major California tax credit program, helping support filming costs for the large-scale beach shoot.
Casting announcements have steadily built anticipation around the project. Stephen Amell joined the series as an adult version of Hobie Buchannon, while David Chokachi returned to reprise his role as Cody Madison from the original show. Other cast members include Jessica Belkin, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, and several others, with Livvy Dunne appearing in a recurring role as a junior lifeguard.
Additional familiar faces are also returning. Erika Eleniak is set to reprise her role as Shauni McClain, while Mary McDonnell, Michael Bergin, and Kelly Packard have also joined in recurring roles tied to the original storyline.
For Livvy Dunne, this marks one of her most high-profile entertainment appearances outside of gymnastics and social media. Her involvement adds a fresh, modern presence to a franchise known for its mix of action, beach lifestyle, and pop culture appeal.
As filming continues, the reboot is shaping up to blend nostalgia with a new generation of cast members, and Dunne’s early scenes are already becoming one of the most talked-about elements from production.
