Baywatch (Franchise)

Baywatch is a drama series about lifeguards protecting the beaches of California and later Hawaii, led by David Hasselhoff. The show mixed beach rescues with personal drama, covering everything from drowning accidents to shark attacks and other dangerous situations. Even though critics often gave it poor reviews, Baywatch became a huge global hit and was once the most-watched TV show in the world. The series ran from 1989 to 2001 and later inspired spin-offs and a 2017 movie adaptation.
