Eight New Lego Super Mario Sets Just Leaked, and Fans Are Thrilled About the Prices
Lego’s Nintendo collaborations have become some of the most anticipated releases in the toy world, consistently blending nostalgic gaming references with the kind of intricate builds that appeal to collectors and casual fans alike. That excitement tends to spike whenever a new wave of sets starts making the rounds online before any official announcement.
Fans have spent the past several months speculating about what Lego’s next major Super Mario push might look like, especially following confirmation that the brand’s first-ever Mario minifigures were on the way. A March reveal showing a single Mario minifigure jumping out of a warp pipe only fueled further curiosity about what else might be coming.
That curiosity has now been answered, at least unofficially, with a fresh wave of leaks revealing eight new Lego Super Mario sets reportedly launching in January 2027. According to leaker Unibricks, the lineup spans a wide price range from $9.99 to $99.99, with every single set said to include at least one minifigure.
The cheapest of the bunch is Mario’s Pipe Jump at $9.99, followed by Mario Kart: Racing with Mario at $14.99 and Mario’s Beach Adventures at $19.99. The lineup climbs from there with Mario Kart: Luigi & Bowser Jr.’s Karts at $29.99, Yoshi at Mario’s House at $39.99, and Mario Kart: Bowser’s Rumbling Kart at $59.99, before topping out with the largest and most expensive set in the wave, Fire Mario & Bowser’s Castle, priced at $99.99.
Rounding out the eight-set lineup is Fire Luigi vs. Koopa Troopa Battle, also priced at $29.99, giving the wave a nice spread of entry points for both casual buyers and dedicated collectors. Notably, three of the eight sets fall under the Mario Kart subtheme, suggesting Lego is putting significant emphasis on expanding that particular corner of its Mario catalog.
Based on the character names referenced across the set titles, fans can reasonably expect minifigures for Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, and Koopa Troopa, even though characters like Peach and Toad aren’t explicitly mentioned in any of the leaked names. It remains possible those characters could still appear as secondary figures bundled into some of the larger sets.
This leaked wave also appears to overlap significantly with an earlier report, with six of the eight product numbers matching a separate leak that included specific piece counts for several of the sets. That earlier report pegged the 850-piece Fire Mario & Bowser’s Castle set as by far the largest build in the collection, working out to a notably low cost per piece compared to some of Lego’s typical licensed offerings.
The pricing structure has already generated plenty of positive buzz among fans online, particularly given how expensive some of Lego’s other recent licensed collaborations have been. Unlike collections that lean heavily toward premium, adult-collector-priced sets, this wave appears designed to offer multiple accessible entry points alongside its higher-end options.
As with any unofficial leak, none of these details have been confirmed by Lego or Nintendo, and set names, prices, and release timing could still shift before an official announcement arrives. Still, with a growing pile of consistent leaks pointing toward the same January 2027 window, anticipation continues building for what could be one of Lego’s biggest Nintendo pushes yet.
