MCU has quite a lot of projects to be released over the course of the next few years. Since most of the releases got rescheduled for 2025 and beyond, this also means that any info regarding the projects are closely guarded secrets, with Marvel Studios being notoriously tight-lipped regarding development and we have to rely on rumors, and rumors weren’t kind toward the upcoming ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’ Following unsatisfactory test screenings the movie underwent extensive reshoots and rewrites with notable villain group being excluded from the movie altogether. The fourth installment in Cap’s franchise also got severely delayed, initially only switching release dates with ‘Deadpool 3’ the movie is now on track to release in 2025.

The most recent US Copyright filings however reveal the most up-to-date synopsis of the movie which merely says “Sam Wilson is the new Man with a Plan.”

While the synopsis didn’t reveal much at least we got confirmation on who might show up in the movie.

Speaking of the movie that switched release dates with ‘Brave New World,’ the US Copyright Office filing revealed that Emma Corrin will be playing the main villain of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ – Cassandra Nova which was speculated for months now.

Cassandra Nova seems like a weird choice for a villain, especially for Deadpool’s first foray into the MCU, but due to her shared history with Charles Xavier, this opens up a lot of possibilities for mutants and cameo appearances in the movie in general. ‘Deadpool 3’ is widely hailed as being the MCU savior, its release being carefully selected by the studio after what seems like a long line of box-office and viewership failure.

As far as ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ goes, the short synopsis did little to change our mind that the movie is now better off than before the re-writes.
