10 Best Marvel & DC Characters in Fortnite

10 Best Marvel DC Characters in Fortnite

There’s no game on the market currently that made so many pop culture references as Fortnite. Fortnite frequently releases new skins based on popular franchises. Some of the references are quite obvious, and some are a little harder to decipher, but most are official partnerships that aim to bring some of the most popular fictional characters to life in this phenomenally famous video game. Both Marvel and DC partnered with Epic in the past, and some of their most popular superheroes and supervillains were included in the game in the form of cosmetics. Let’s see what the top 10 are.

1. Black Manta

Black Manta Fortnite

Black Manta is nowhere near being the most popular supervillain in DC comics, but he is famous for being Aquaman’s arch-enemy, and in Aquaman’s former origin story, he was responsible for the death of Arthury Curry Jr. and the demise of his marriage with Mera. Black Manta came to Fortnite in July 2020, and to this day, he frequently appears in the shop, his outfit going by the price of 1500 V-bucks. The skin might become popular again with the release of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.’

2. Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider Fortnite

Marvel’s Spirit of Vengeance was famous long before Marvel became mainstream with the MCU. Johnny Blaze had his own movies long before Iron Man, so it’s not surprising that he was forever immortalized in Fortnite with his very own skin. Ghost Rider in Fornite comes in all of his leathery glory and flame particles surrounding his skull. The characters debuted in November 2020 as a part of the Marvel Series. When Ghost Rider appears in the shop, you can purchase him for 1,500 V-Bucks.

3. Clark Kent

Clark Kent

Clark Kent, at this point, transcends DC as even people who are not that into comics at all know who Superman is. Superman is a synonym for strength, bravery, courage, and purity of cause, so it’s not surprising that he is one of the DC characters that were included in the game. Clark Kent’s cosmetics differ because he has several selectable styles you can choose from. He debuted in the game in August 2021.

4. Silver Surfer

Silver Surfer

Silver Surfer, the most famous herald of Galactus, decided to split from his matter and join a different type of fight – the one in Fortnite. Silver Surfer was included in the game in August 2020 in all his silvery glory. He is recognizable with his sheen and comes with his own cosmic surfboard. He, however, cannot annihilate his enemies with Power Cosmic. If you’re looking to buy Silver Surfer from the shop, you’re going to have to shell out 1500 V-Bucks.

5. Green Arrow

Green arrow

DC’s most famous archer made his appearance in Fortnite back in 2021. Although his skill in archery in the game depends on your own, he is still a neat addition to have, especially when you take into account Green Arrow’s origin story, which states that he initially took up bow and arrows when he was forced to survive by fighting his way out of tropical island inhabited by thugs.

Since Green Arrow is quite rare skin, he doesn’t appear in the shop regularly. You can either subscribe to Fortnite Crew to gain access to it, or buy an entire Fortnite account that already has the character unlocked.

6. Gamora

Gamora

The most dangerous woman in Galaxy did find herself in Fortnite. Her unmistakably green skin makes her stand out, so it’s no wonder that she is one of Fortnite’s most popular Marvel Characters. She is not as dangerous in the game as in the movies, but she comes equipped with her own set of blades.

7. The Batman Who Laughs

Batman who laughs

Fortnite usually includes characters that have appeared in live-action media, but they obviously made an exception for Batman Who Laughs. He is not only one of the most awesome comic-themed characters in the game, but he is also one of the most evil versions of Batman imaginable. The Batman Who Laughs hails from the Dark Multiverse, and he was directly responsible for reality unraveling. Hopefully, he doesn’t attempt such tomfoolery in Fortnite as well.

8. Blade

Blade

When was the last time you saw vampires on the island? Exactly. Blade was introduced in 2020, and we’re quite frankly shocked that the legendary vampire-hunter wasn’t included even sooner. Blade has his legendary katanas, a long leather coat, and trademark red shades. Being one of the most epic skins in the game means that you will have to shell out 2000 V-Bucks the next time he appears in the Items Shop. Just like with Clark Kent, you can choose between different selectable styles.

9. Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is the most iconic female superhero of all time, and she decided to make her way from Paradise Island to Fortnite Island, equipped with her Lasso of Truth and legendary tiara.

Knowing that Wonder Woman cannot resist a good challenge and one of her few weaknesses is the fact that she can’t lose, Fortnite seems like a good environment for her. We have a feeling that she would be an extremely toxic player. Anyway, Wonder Woman is a bit pricier than most skins on this list. You can buy her for 1600 V-Bucks.

10. Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel

The general public didn’t care about Captain Marvel until she was included in the MCU with her stand-alone movie, and since then, she has quickly risen in popularity and has a second movie on the way. Captain Marvel comes with two selectable styles, her standard form and her radiant binary form, and considering that the skin is one of the most beautiful in the game, it’s quite expensive and cannot be bought through regular means.
