LEGO fans who play on Nintendo Switch have something to look forward to this year. Two brand-new LEGO games are on the way, and both are expected to arrive before the end of 2025. The news comes from Annapurna Interactive and was announced today.

The first game is called LEGO Voyagers. It’s a co-op adventure that focuses on teamwork and having fun together.

You can play it with someone else either on the same screen or online. The game also includes something called a Friend’s Pass. This means only one player needs to own the game for both people to play, similar to how some Hazelight games like It Takes Two work.

Annapurna Interactive described the game like this: “Bricks who click together, stick together. LEGO Voyagers is a new 2-player co-op adventure that’s all about building spaceships, excitement and friendships. Share a screen or play online – whatever works for you. The game will also feature Friend’s Pass, allowing you to play together using just one purchased copy of the game. Grab your brick buddy and get ready for an incredible adventure!”

The second game is called LEGO Party, and it looks like a fun party game in the style of Mario Party. Players can compete in a bunch of silly mini-games, 60 in total, based on classic LEGO themes like Space, Pirates, and Ninjago. The game also includes online play and even lets people play together across different platforms.

The official game description says: “Compete against your friends in wacky Challenge Zones and 60 hilarious minigames from across your favorite LEGO sets like Pirates, Space, NINJAGO® and more. Join your friends online no matter their platform, for a LEGO Party game night.”

Both games are being made for the Nintendo Switch, and they’re expected to come out later this year. With one focused on story and teamwork, and the other built for competitive fun, it looks like LEGO is covering both ends of the gaming spectrum. No exact release dates have been shared yet, but more news should be coming soon.
