One of the constant villains in the world of Marvel Comics is Ultron, who we know is an actual robot that is advanced enough to become a threat to the Avengers and the entire world. Ultron’s power is actually pretty impressive despite the fact that he is a robot created by a human. It is the fact that he is a robot that makes him strong, as robots can always become stronger, depending on the upgrades that they get. But how strong is Ultron?

  • Article Breakdown:
  • Ultron’s body was made to be strong enough to handle the Avengers, as he has strength levels that allow him to lift more than 100 tons.
  • On top of that, Ultron’s body is made of Adamantium in the comics (Vibranium in the MCU), and that means that it is incredibly durable.
  • Ultron’s ability to control technology and create inferior copies of himself is what makes him a threat to the Avengers, including the mightiest heroes, such as Thor and the Hulk.

Ultron’s power evolves

The Avengers have faced their fair share of villains over the years, as this group was created to make sure that Earth had defenders who were willing to put their lives on the line to save innocent people from global threats. Of course, one of the threats that have constantly been a thorn in the side of the Avengers is the robot named Ultron, which was created by Hank Pym in the comics (Tony Stark in the MCU).

Ultron may be a robot, but his programming is so advanced that he can think autonomously, allowing him to think and act without the need for any person to control him. His autonomous thinking allowed him to become a villain, as he couldn’t distinguish between right and wrong, unlike normal human beings.

Because Ultron is a great threat to the world, he is incredibly powerful and can take on the Avengers alone. Ultron started out as a simple robot but has since seen his fair share of upgrades. This makes him so dangerous, as he can transfer his programming and consciousness from one robotic body to another. In the comics, Ultron even assimilated his body with Hank Pym, making him a cyborg instead of just a robot.

The upgrades that Ultron has received over the years allowed him to become strong enough to handle even the strongest superheroes that Marvel Comics has to offer. His strength level is on par with incredibly strong heroes, as he can lift over 100 tons. However, it is actually Ultron’s durability that makes him so hard to kill.

Made out of Adamantium, which is the same substance used to make Wolverine’s skeleton, Ultron’s body is very durable. He is totally impervious to any damage from the outside due to the fact that the outer shell of his body is made from one of the hardest metals in the world of Marvel Comics. His internals are made of materials that are less durable, but that doesn’t always matter because Ultron’s outer shell is capable of withstanding some of the strongest attacks that any hero can deliver.

On top of that, Ultron has the ability to control technology almost at will. This is one of the upgrades he received over the years, as he can bend machinery at will and even absorb surrounding machines and tech to make himself stronger. In fact, Ultron has become so strong that it is said that his technology is now able to challenge the same technology that Galactus, a galaxy-level threat, uses.

Another aspect that makes Ultron dangerous is his ability to create lesser copies of himself. He is known to create weaker Ultron versions that are all connected under one hive mind, which is a central processor. All of these Ultron copies are basically Ultron himself, as he can move his consciousness from one robot to another due to how advanced his processing capabilities are. This is what makes him dangerous, as he can create an entire army that can stand up to the Avengers.

How Ultron compares to other strong characters

Hulk

The Hulk is said to be the strongest Avenger in terms of his physical abilities due to the fact that he is known to become stronger as he gets angrier. In fact, the Hulk’s strength is basically limitless as he has proven himself to be able to handle any kind of enemy as long as he is incredibly angry.

Ultron can match the Hulk in combat but is considerably weaker in terms of his physical strength. However, Ultron is just as durable as the Hulk due to his Adamantium body. As we all know, Adamantium is one of the few metals that can cut through the Hulk’s skin.

Thor

Thor is on par with the Hulk in terms of how mighty he is, as he is almost just as strong but has powers and abilities that give justice to his title as the god of thunder. As such, he is one of the strongest Avengers and is still one of the most powerful heroes in Marvel Comics.

However, in the comics, Ultron has consistently found a way to defeat Thor despite the fact that Thor’s strength is at a higher level. Ultron’s many different technological abilities and weapons, however, have proven to be more than a match for the god of thunder.

Thanos

Thanos is just like Ultron in the sense that he has always been a constant enemy of the Avengers. In the comics, Thanos is obsessed with Death and always tries to find a way to please her so that he can get on her good side. That’s why Thanos wants to kill as many people as possible, as he believes that this is the best way to please Death. The Avengers, of course, have always tried to stop him.

It is said that Thanos has strength and durability levels that are on par with the Hulk, has an intellect that rivals Tony Stark’s intelligence, and has numerous energy-based powers and abilities that allow him to become an Avengers-wide threat. A fight between him and Ultron would be interesting to watch, but it is likely that the Mad Titan would win in that fight, even without the Infinity Gauntlet, because he has proven himself time and time again to be strong enough to take on the Avengers all on his own.
