Chicago (Franchise)

It includes series like “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Chicago Med,” and “Chicago Justice,” all set around public service workers in Chicago. The franchise has been very successful, regularly drawing strong ratings with nearly seven million viewers on average across its main shows. As of 2026, NBC has renewed “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” and “Chicago Med” for the 2026–2027 season, and the franchise has produced 791 episodes across 39 seasons in total.
