Moana (franchise)

The Moana franchise, also known as Vaiana or Oceania in some regions, is a Disney media series that began with the 2016 animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It follows the story of Moana and her ocean journey and has grown into a wider franchise over time. The series includes a sequel, Moana 2 (2024), which continues the story of the original film. A live-action remake of the 2016 movie is also planned for release on July 10, 2026.
