Cape Fear is an upcoming psychological thriller miniseries created by Nick Antosca, based on the novel The Executioners by John D. MacDonald and its earlier film adaptations from 1962 and 1991. The story follows Max Cady, a violent ex-con who is released from prison and seeks revenge on the couple who defended him in court years earlier. The series stars Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, and Patrick Wilson in the lead roles.
