“The Penguin” is an upcoming American TV miniseries produced by 6th & Idaho, DC Studios, Dylan Clark Productions, and Warner Bros. Television Studios, which Lauren LeFranc created for the streaming service Max. The show is a spin-off of the 2022 movie “The Batman” and focuses on the Penguin’s ascent to power in Gotham City’s criminal world, featuring the titular DC Comics character. Lauren LeFranc serves as the showrunner for the series.
